Personal History: Grace grew up in Victoria and has always used the Marshall family home as her home base. Starting in her late teen years, though, she began globe-trotting with her father's youngest sister, after whom she was named. During the latter half of WWI, Grace was a nurse in France. Afterwards, she combined her nursing skills with the teaching profession and travelled to poor, remote areas the world over. At the outbreak of WWII, she renewed her career as an army nurse and again worked at the front. She began to settle down after the war, limiting her travels to family. Grace is the closest tie to the Marshall family of old, remaining close with all her cousins and their children-including those who inherited Belleterre and the Stancliff dukedom-and achieving status with all family branches as the Marshall matriarch. Once she reached her nineties her traveling capabilities were significantly diminished, but she is still healthy and active with all her senses about her. She still lives in the Marshall family home.
