Societies dedicated to Rebecca Fogg
Rebecca Fogg, superspy, woman of mystery and of action -- and of impeccable style. We wanna be just like you when we 'grow up'! Rebecca embodies all of the things that anyone, but especially ladies of all ages and any era, would wish to be: strong, independent, capable, beautiful, witty, intelligent ... and able to kick @$$ like nobody's business. While there is still lively debate States-side about whether her relationship with her cousin, Phileas Fogg, will -- or should -- evolve into a romance, one thing everyone agrees on is that when it comes to dark alleys and dangerous foes, Rebecca is the one you want at your side. Despite that, however, she does still need the people in her life -- she loves deeply, and can be as stubborn when it comes to her friendships as when she's in a fight.
Rebecca is someone on whom one can depend, and someone whom we wish to emulate, but she's also someone whom we wish to protect, even if it's just by providing a laugh, a shoulder, or a needed bottle of aspirin. That is where Rebecca's societies come in.
RASA -- Rebecca's Apprentice/Assistant Secret Agents
Purpose: To protect Rebecca when she rarely requires it, to provide her with a shoulder to cry upon or for sisterly comfort in those times, and to learn the spy business from her. It might also include helping P, Q's predecessor in concocting nifty gadgets for Rebecca's use. While this may prove difficult in the future, it has provided, in connection with the VPA, a great deal of hilarity for avid board readers. |
