Physical Description: Height ~ 5'11" Build ~ Slim and willowy Eyes ~ Piercing emerald green, almond-shaped. Hair ~ Long, wavy, golden-blonde hair. Face ~ Soft, feminine features, straight nose, full lips, high cheekbones, _very_ beautiful. Complexion ~ Medium golden tan. K'lar is right-handed. He has a soft voice, and sings in a gentle tenor. He is quite androgynous in appearance; his grace and facial features being quite delicate and feminine. He wears a woven bracelet that his fostersister, Konranee, made for him. He wears graceful, flowing garments of gold, bronze and crimson hues (much like autumn leaves). He has a small notebook that he carries around with him, in which he writes about people he's met, places he's been, what he thinks and many other things. It is rather like a diary, only not.

Emotional Description: K'lar is friendly, gentle and sensitive, though he has a playful side too. He loves flits and children, likening them to one another. He is nervous of runners after an incident in his childhood. He is very affectionate with those who get close to him, though he finds it hard to trust people, so once his trust is won he is extremely loyal (to a fault). He is very calm (almost to a fault) and has a calming effect on others (though in an argument people can be unnerved by his composure). He rarely, if ever, looses his temper, and when he does so he becomes quiet, which is more frightening than if he shouted.

Brief History: 22 turns ago Kalaran was born to a greenrider and Lord Holder. Lord Bidrek died before his son's birth, and Sellan had him fostered at Southern Hold with Filletha and Kadarn. Having mostly females around him made Kalaran very sensitive to emotions, and especially women's subtleties. At 8 Kalaran was being taught to ride runnerbeasts, it was his first ride, and something spooked the runner, so it bolted with him. Eventually it bucked him off and he broke his leg. He has been wary of runners ever since. When he was 14 he was Searched for a clutch at Southern Weyr and ended up Impressing on green Daiseth. After this K'lar (was he was now known) automatically assumed that he was homosexual, and thought this confirmed when he didn't find himself attracted to any women at the Weyr. At 19, K'lar Impressed a brown flit, Gosef. At 20, K'lar decided that it was time to move on, and requested a transfer. He ended up at Victory Weyr. At 21 K'lar Impressed a blue flit, Yeelar. Over the past turn he has found himself confused by some of the feelings he has had for the women around him and the Weyr. This has lead him to wonder if he is homosexual or bisexual.

Description: Daiseth is a light, jade shade of green with mottled emerald and sea-green on her flanks and wings. Although large in size for a green, she is very sleek.

Personality: Daiseth is as calm as her rider, though a little more prone to loosing her temper - unlike her rider, she won't let anyone walk all over her. She enjoys working with weyrlings and candidates, and loves to do aerial maneuvers. Generally she is loving and sensitive, but when she's going to fly soon she is hypersensitive. She has a good 'nose' for Searching.

Strengths/Weaknesses: She's highly maneuverable, and an excellent Search dragon. She can be a little too daring with her maneuvers and aerobatics.
