Physical Description: With the body of a greek god and the face of an angel with black hair and green eyes, heavy build, highly muscled He has a medium low voice with a soft burr that sounds almost seductive

Emotional Description: bookish, shy around girls, knowledgable, helpful and friendly he likes animals and quiet nights outside, skinny dipping,and running He dislikes bullies, arguments, and being in crowds

Brief History: he was born just 17 years ago to a pair of beastherders, their second son, and was raised to hard work. However, it was di scovered that while he worked hard, and built up plenty of muscle, he actually preferred intellectual pursuits. The local harper took to teaching him as much as he could learn, but always sighed at best when he heard the boy sing as the soft bur in his speaking voice was magnified by any attempt to sing into a tone that ruined his singing voice, making it highly anmnoying at best.

After several years, however, he began to watch girls from a distance, unable to approach them without being shy ands unable to talk except of inconsequentials. Then came the day that a dragon came by in Search.

Later on, Rytan, having made few friends among the candidates was brought to the scene of a fire at a cothold, where in an efforrt to rescue another weyrling, he went into a burnign building. During that event, he saved the life of Q'win, Harmoth's rider.

At the Hatching, Rytan was the first to Impress, Impressing bronze Adelpheth, who wa s the first to call him R'tan.

Abilities/Strengths/Weaknesses: strengths,:Strong, intellectual, and helpful Weaknesses:Shy, bookish, Abilities:while he cannot sing, he has perfect pitch allowing him to recognize a song and voice easily (But also making him uninclined to enjoy amateur singing)
