Someone pass the barf bag, that was sickening. If
watching Pedro pitch a gem against the Spanks and losing 2-1 was bad
enough, it got worse, much worse. I was forced to watch Carl Everett
face Mike Mussina. Carl had a stellar day at the plate, going 0-4 with
4 K's. It was pathetic, fastballs high and curveballs in the dirt, same
pattern everytime up. I give him credit, after the game he said he had
a bad aprroach at the plate. I am surprised that he didn't blame Jimy
Williams for his awful day at the plate.

Stupid Carl Everett, Stupid!!! Hello, Carl anyone
home? What was he thinking, if you saw the play against the A's in the
bottom of the ninth on Friday, there is no need to explain. Carl made
a STUPID decision. Being agressive is good but being stupid and agressive
is not good, it is ugly. Then, after the game he says he would do the
same thing, he would tag up again and risk the chance of being tagged
out before the game's tying run could score. Carl, are you ever wrong,
it is always someone else's fault. If he took the blame and said I messed
up this would have been in THE BAD section
but he did not take any blame at all. What a joke that play was!!! But
it certainly was not funny for the Red Sox.
