Welcome
to Carl's World, a mysterious place full of the good
and the bad of the Red Sox center fielder, Carl Everett.
This page is completed dedicated to truly one of the
most fascinating players to ever wear a Red Sox uniform.
You either love him or love to hate him, Carl Everett
is a true enigma to the loyal Red Sox fans and to
the game of baseball. On the field, Carl is easily
one of the top players in Major League Baseball but
off and sometimes on the field (or in the dugout),
Mt. Everett erupts and the scene left behind is usually
not pretty. Whether it is head-butting an umpire (which
most players would like to do) or arguing with teammates
on and off the field, showing up late continuously
or pissing of his manager,it never looks good. We
know the media in Boston loves this guy because the
minute he doesn't sign little Joe's hat or blames
the media, guys like Steve Buckley or Gerry Callahan
write article after article on him. Well, I'm sick
of the media ripping Crazy Carl, don't get me wrong,
when Carl yells at his teammate or manager, I definitely
do not support his actions but you have the take the
bad with the good things Carl does throughout the
season. And that is what this site is all about, it
is the good and the bad things that happens throughout
the season. Crazy Carl's insane quotes, antics and
tantrums will all be here but his game winning home
runs, clutch hits, great catches and hard-nosed play
will also be here. Let's see if the good out ways
the bad or vice versa, let's give this guy one more
chance and besides we would only get fifty cents on
the dollar in a trade. So when your at Friendly Fenway
and Carl Everett is at the plate, put the ear muffs
on the kids and send the wife out to get some drinks
and enjoy Crazy Carl swing his mighty bat (or head)
and hope Mr. Everett can have a solid and productive
season for your Boston Red Sox.
