The Story:
Tanker Mission: The year is 2007. The New York based Anti-Metal Gear group, "Philanthropy" has discovered new information pertaining to the development of a new Metal Gear, being developed by the Military. Sent in to investigate, Solid Snake boards oil tanker, "Discovery" to find proof of Metal Gear RAY. However, nothing goes according to plan. Russian terrorists, led by Colonel Sergei Gurlukovich, are after the new Metal Gear, in hopes of reviving Russia. However, their is more to this plot than what meets the eye, as Snake learns he may be targetted by his own government. What the hell is going on this time around? Who is the "La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo?"
Big Shell Mission: The year is 2009. It has been two years since the oil massive spill took place in the Manhattan Harbor after a terrorist attak on an Oil Tanker. That terrorist was Solid Snake, the hero of Shadow Moses, who died on the Tanker after blowing it to pieces. The government constructed The Big Shell, an offshore decontamination plant in response to this attack, in order to clean up the spill. However, during a government sponsored tour, a terrorist group calling themselves "Sons Of Liberty," attack and take the tour group hostage. Among the hostages is James Johnson, President of the United States. The name of their leader claims to be Solid Snake. The group, being led by members of Dead Cell, an anti-terrorist group formed by ex-President George Sears, demands 30 Billion Dollars in cash. Sent in to stop these terrorists, a lone FOXHOUND agent, codenamed Raiden, infiltrates the Big Shell, unaware that he may be just another pawn for "The Patriots" to manipulate.

What We Learned From Shadow Moses:
-At One Point, Vulcan Raven refers to Ocelot as General Ivan. Is this Ocelot's real name? If so, what importance does it hold?
-Ocelot was a spy the whole time, working for the third Snake, Solidus, who at the time, was the President of the United States.
-Liquid and Ocelot were planning on selling Metal Gear REX to Gurlukovich to help revive Russia. Liquid even suggested they join forces.
-At one point in MGS 1, the Colonel, during the accusation against Naomi, refers to "a different group." Could he have been talking about the Patriots? "Different group? It couldn't be..."
-Liquid wanted to make a world full of conflict and war. Did he know about The Patriots? Could Shadow Moses have been a plot to "de-throne" The Patriots once and for all? If that is true, could the same be said about Big Boss' revolutions?
