The above are two posters that I have scanned for my first web site. This site is to inform about coming concerts. If your orchestra is having a concert, you can advertise here FOR FREE. E-mail me with the necessary details. Scanned posters are strongly encouraged. Give me the original BMP format, and I will do the rest. Try to compress the file using Winzip (you can get it from Shareware.Com) before sending over. If the file is too big, split them into small parts.

The recent Chinese Music Concerts I went to were the Performances Of The Festival Of Asian Performing Arts 1997 in Singapore. They were Concert of The Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra conducted by Yan Hui Chang on 14 June 1997 and Concert of The Singapore Chinese Orchestra conducted by Qu Chun Quan on 21 June 1997. Comparatively The Hong Kong Orchestra Concert was more enjoyable than the Singapore Orchestra Concert. This is partly because the conductor and the orchestra was more lively and the song pieces were more interesting. Nevertheless, the Guanzi Soloist Jin Shi Yi of the Singapore Chinese Orchestra Concert was superb in his performance.

Written reviews and previews of concerts are welcomed. I will be writting some of them if I have the time.
