It was founded in December of 1969, with the name of "Grupo Vocal Bautista" by professor Michel Eustache V. Since then, it has developed an intense labor through its wide and diverse repertory which includes: Renaissance Music, Sacred Music (motets, Choral compositions, hymns and spirituals), Universal Songs and Latinamerican Folk Music. The Vocal Group has recorded several singles and LP's, as well as the video-movie "Celebrate Life", in spanish, based on the life of the Lord Jesus Christ.Since 1973, the Grupo Vocal Bach joined the "Movimiento Coral Cantemos" which belongs to Schola Cantorum de Caracas Foundation, participating in several Festivals, Unanimous Singing Acts and Musics Plays as: "The Passion (according to apostle S. Matthew)" of J.S. Bach, The "Ninth Simphony " of L.V. Beethoven, The "Christmas Cantata" of D. Pinkham, and others. It has had the honour of opening the performance for the firts time in Venezuela of the following plays: "Sol de América" of A. Mastrogiovanni, "Magnificat" of M.A. Charpentier and "Suite Andina" of F. León.
Like wise, it has had the privilege of representing Venezuela in international events, Congress and Christian Evangelical Festivals in Perú, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, México, USA, Curazao, Puerto Rico and Aruba, with a recognized succes from the critics and the audience.
Actually, the "Group" has its site in the Memorial Baptist Church temple in Caracas, Venezuela.
We must to mention the professors: R. Enrique Urdaneta M., Larry Rice, Samuel Boruszko F., Sara Boruszko de Eustache, Pedro Eustache V. y Juvenal Campos; who had been associates conductors of our choir.
