![]() A venezuelan christian evangelical music conductor, started working in the musical conduction field with the choir of the Central Baptist Church of Caracas. He feels the need of achieving technical skills in this area, so he takes the course of choir conduction, taught by Magister Alberto Grau, obtaining his degree in 1977. He is a graduated professor, and teaches in Pedagogy Institute of Caracas (IUPC) since 1967. Besides the "Grupo Vocal Bach", he has been founder conductor of other choral groups as coral "José Antonio Calcaño" and Grupo Vocal "Ars Nova", also he conduct the "coral del Ministerio Público", coral "Corpoven", coral "Petróleos de Venezuela" (PDVSA) and the choir "Juan Bautista Plaza" of the IPC-UPEL. Between january 1977 and january 1987, he was assigned by magister Grau as artistic conductor of the "Movimiento Coral Cantemos" of the "Schola Cantorum de Caracas" Foundation (FSCC). For eight years he worked as a teacher of "Gesture Technics a Choir Conduction" in the Choir Singing School of FSCC, and of the Choir Singing Course of the National Youthful Orchestra of Venezuela. Actually he is teaching "Lecturing Singing Techniques" and "Choral Conduction II, III and IV" in the IUPC-UPEL. He has been invited as Conductor and Jury of different courses and seminaries celebrated as a part of Choirs Festivals in América and Europe. Among his musical compositions, there are Psalms, Motets, Madrigals, Choral Songs, as well as the music of the anthem of the Public Ministry of the Venezuelan Republic.
