L'Aquila - In the middle of the Appenines
This town is a quaint place, located in the Appenine Mountain Range, about 1 1/2 hours northeast of Rome...The weather here is cooler than Rome and many other parts, because of ite mountainous location.
Why did I come here....To visit a good friend of mine, Giulia Massignan (in picture above)...This is the town where she go to college. I had a great time staying in this town, and I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had other family things to attend to. This was the beginning of a 10-day excursion for me and I met some great people, including Giulia's roommate, Enrico, plus his family.
