who am I?  |  my Love  |  poetry  |  why?
Writings to No One:

I long to hold you once more in my arms
To touch your sweet smile, to kiss your dreams
If only you were here with me to share in this moment

Forgive me if I seem nervous
I have not been here in an eternity
Maybe I’ve never been here before
I don’t want to lose a moment
So forgive me if I get lost in each
When you look at me that way
My soul trembles and my hands, too
My heart aches from being stretched
With these feelings, it’s all too much
With you everything is so new
So different, nothing the way I thought it would be
Is it always like this?
I’ve never been here before

Love herself is my muse
Though she shows herself as no one else
She is my mistress and holds me close
That her each breath fills my lungs
Without her I could not exist
