2. I will soon be calling all parents about helping at the lobster carnival booth. Please assist me in making this a less difficult task each year. One shift during the Carnival is all that is needed.
3. All money for the Prom Make-over tickets should now be turnedin to Ethel.
On June 5th we will be catering a dinner for the Nova Scotia Teachers Union at the United Church. This is a annual event and we make quite a bit of money from it. We usully serve about 50 to a lobster dinner. Susan is coordinating this event. She will need assistance with food prepartions and setup, donations of veggies etc. ANd some really really nice and fancy desserts for the dinner. ( they look forward to nice desserts and we charge a ridiculous amount of money for the meal) Give her a call before she calls you.
ROCK AND ROLL DANCE ON May 5th at the Michelin Club. Music is by MASK and it looks like tickets are starting to move quite well already. It's going to be a great time and it should be a good money makers for the band. If you need tickets call me or Kathy.
The Rotary pancake dinner is on from 11am till 6 pm on Staurday at the Pictou United Church. We have sold about $700.00 worth of tickets for this event and will be assisting the Rotary Club in serving dinner. If there are parents out there who can offer some assistance for a couple of hours throughout the day, please contact Kathy, Sharon, or Ethel. we can use a hand.
We had a great day last Saturday selling tickets on a get away weekend at the Train Station Inn. Jane's parents ( owners of the Inn) have kindly donated the package. To date we have sold over $400.00 on this and will be drawing the prise at our big Dance on May 5th.
Ticket Blitz for sports Nova Scotia.
We did not recieve the tickets for this project in time to do the Blitz a week ago Saturday. Instead we are asking our members and students to do a Blitz NEXT wednesday form 5:45- 8pm.
This is just one short Blitz to sell these tickets, we sell just that one day.

There are currently 2 sets of tickets out. One set is for a one night's stay at the Trainstation Inn in tatamagouge. Included with this is supper and breakfest for two, string of bowling, bubble bath, wine, chocolates, wine glasses, and all that good stuff. Tickets are$2 ea. or 3 tickets for $5
The other set, which are to be passed in now, are pancake dinner tickets.
Also, be on the look out for a ticket blitz ( door to door) which is planning to be held in the next several weeks. More info will be in soon.
Dance:
A dance is being sponsered by the Heatherbells, Featuring MASK at the Michelin club on May 5th, 2001.
Now that we have had our penny bags "planted" for a few weeks, it's time to check on them, to make sure they are growing nicely. You may wish to remind those who have your nags to make sure they put lots of spare coins in them to make them grow. We will be collecting them in the first week in April.
Pancake Dinner Tickets
Everyone now has a few Pancake dinner tickets to sell. The quicker we sell them and return the money the better. PLease return your money to Judy ( Jackie's mom) as soon as possible. These are easy tickets to sell as it is a chance to taste the new spring maple syrup, AND Everyone has to eat! Remember, the Rotary Club does most of the work, we get half of the money. Not a bad deal!
Our ANNUAL PENNY HARVEST begins today> All Heatherbells and students will recieve bags that you can givefriends. Relatives co-workers, etc. They simply put any spare coins inot the bags and you come and collect the nags in about a month. This is a very easy fundraiser. All you have to do is pass them out and take them in.
Pancake Breakfest Tickets
Reserve April 21 for the annual pancake and maple syrup dinner by the Rotary Club. We assist the club by selling tickets and helping at the dinner, and we sharethe profits, ( a good deal) We will be getting tickets for this at month end so we can have lots of time to sell lots of tickets.
1.WE will be starting our "coin harvest" next week. You will recieve a numberof coin bags that you canleave around the house, give to your grandparents, get your mother or father to take to work, etc. You let these sit for a month or so while they "grow" full of coins and then you take them back. Easy! no muss no fuss. You can start planning yuor harvest garden now.
2. On April 21 we will be working with the rotary club on their annual pancake dinner. I will have tickets for everyone to sell in about 2 weeks. we get half of all the money they make. So the more tickets sold, the more money for us.
Our regal cimpain is complete and was a success. All we need is to have all money's returned is asap in order to complete the project. All those who still have outstanding money, please pass it in this week to me or Mrs. Currie at school.

We sold almost all of our crystal x-mas ornaments but I have about 6 left at home. Anyone who wants one can have them for $5
