Well, I play the piano and the viola. I'm currently playing for the San Jose Youth Symphony. (There's a really cute girl in there...) Hmm... I like listening to Limp Bizkit, but I'm not into hardcore rap. Nobuo Uematsu, the composer of Final Fantasy music, is one of my favorites. In any case, I've written a couple of songs myself. Here are some that are becoming available on MIDI: Soundtrack to Donuts in Space--This is the MIDI I wrote for my Donuts In Space Java game. I wrote it in 1 day, and it turned out pretty good considering the amount of time I spent on it. Original/Double Piece--This was originally 2 songs I wrote for the piano, written in 2000 and 2001, I think. I played them together so much that eventually, I just added a bridge to go between them, linked them together, and called them one song. I usually refer to it as "Original Piece" or "Double Piece." Now, it's finally available in MIDI. Original/Double Piece Sheet Music--This is the score (aka, sheet music) for the Original/Double Piece, the song that's not yet available on MIDI, but is listed above. In any case, it was created with Sibelius and lots of effort, and then, converted to .PDF format for your convenience. If your computer cannot read .PDF's, then go to http://www.adobe.com/ and download and install the Adobe Acrobat Reader. Note that it's all in separate single pages, because I have Adobe Photoshop, not Adobe Acrobat (the .PDF maker), so I could only make single page PDF's. It's a little bigger than a page, so when you tell Acrobat Reader to print, tell it to "Fit to page", so that it will... fit on a page. Original/Double Piece - Page 1 Original/Double Piece - Page 2 Original/Double Piece - Page 3 Original/Double Piece - Page 4 Original/Double Piece - Page 5 The Tragedy of Viltris - Theme of Sorrow - Piano Arrangement Sheet Music--This is the score for the Piano version of the Viltris Theme, Sorrow Version. (Incidentally, it was first made on the piano and this is the exact same version.) It's in PDF format for the same reason as above (Original/Double Piece Sheet Music), so follow the same instructions and you'll be okay. Viltris - Theme of Sorrow - Page 1 Viltris - Theme of Sorrow - Page 2 Pan Daemonus Rex--This is the opening Demonic Choir that I made for my second semester Electronic Music project. Unfortunately, the actual instruments sound much better on the keyboard than on the regular sound card. The Sawtooth lead sounds more buzzy and the choir sounds more like a real choir. Oh well, it's still pretty good. Doomfall and Hope--This is the second semester Electronic Music project. Like before, it sounds better in the MIDI lab. For those of you who haven't noticed, it uses Pan Daemonus Rex (above) as the intro. I told you I was using a Demonic Choir for this! UPDATED!Gregory Janson's Tear of Gold--This is my MIDI arrangement of Gregory Janson's Tear of Gold, the 3rd Ending Theme of the Catacombs of Zeux. Unfortunately, the original song is only available in MOD format, and very few programs today can play that format. I hope you enjoy the MIDI format. I really is a beautiful song, in my opinion. |
