3onTuesday is a singer/songwriter night (with the occasional duo or 
        3 piece band), hosted by Kendall Roark. The event happens every 1st 
        Tuesday of the month at Sal's on 12th (200 S. 12th St.) in Center City 
        Philadelphia. Each evening you'll find everything from successful full-time 
        musicians to amazing songwriters just getting up the nerve to perform for a 
        crowd. What makes the evening worth while is it's unpredictableness (any 
        genre, any level of experience...though good songwriting...lyrically and/or 
        musically...is the only must) and egalitarian nature. Each performer plays 
        two sets of 3 songs each in the round. Pay is based on tips generously offered 
        from the audience, which are then split between the three acts (with 1/4 set 
        aside to keep the show going). Sometimes there are free cookies. If you'd like
