Week Seven:
Hey Everyone! Welcome to Virtual Pop Idol 2! Believe it or not, we are down to our final 4 idols! The competition has certainly been an exciting rollar coaster. We've said goodbye to 8 other idols, but still 3 more will be eliminated before the winner is crowned. Well, since things have been going so well, I decided that the idols needed a little break this week before kickin it into the Final 3. This weeks theme was free choice! Here tonight are Nick and Stacy! Let's get rollin'!
We would like to thank Reality
Reel Media for hosting our sound files!
Nick: Andrew, although I really enjoyed your performance, I definately think you are the weakest of the final 4. All your performances seem to be pretty dull. I have yet to see something truely exciting from you. Don't get me wrong, you have so much talent, and you definately deserve to be in the final 4. However, if you want to win, you're going to have to kick it up a notch and do better than you have been! Overall, fantastic effort, and keep singing!
Stacy: This was pretty good Andrew, not bad… not your best, but not bad. It didn’t WOW me, but I liked the sweet simplicity you kept with this. I like how daring you are with trying a JoDee Messina song. I like how you did it and made it your own I give you respect for choosing this song. Your pitch was good too I like that your pitch has improved. Overall, good job!

Next up is Dean singing "Try" by himself(an original):
Nick: Dean, it's getting down to the wire, so I am going to be totally honest. Every week you bring it, and you give us everything you have. However, I am concerned (like Andrew) with your diversity in song choice. You have shown us a few things, but I am expecting more from you guys. Overall, I loved the original song, it had an awesome tune to it, and it was well done. I loved the ending, it tied the song together really nicely. Well Done Dean!
Stacy: Nice job Dean, this wasn’t your best but it was good. I found it a little boring but I LOVE how well you did the back up vocals and harmonies (is that really you?) There were some pitchy spots that stood out but overall not bad. The nasal-ness wasn’t as bad this time, I still hear it here and there but it was better. Mostly with the higher notes. I like this best for the background and harmonies honestly.
Is Dean your Virtual Pop Idol? Vote at the end of the show!
