Week Three:
Next up is Nicole singing "Colours Of The Wind" from Pocahontas:   Nick: Nicole, that was quite impressive. I'm happy to see that each week you improve so much. You have so much potential and you know that. You definately showed us that you deserve to be where you are. Well Done! Keep up the great work!
Ksenia: This is improved from your past songs. Some pitch problems but better than your past. I think you had more of a passion for this song. Sometimes it seemed as if you tried a little too hard, don't push anything just breathe open and let the sound out. I think you're getting better, so whatever you did this time worked and keep doing it
Stacy: You have such a pretty voice... it is immature sounding but I can sooo hear the potential in it. I can hear you do have power but because you sing in your "head voice", Its hard to notice... please sing in your "chest voice" next time because that is where you will show your true ability. It is too safe to sing in your head voice. Also, watch your pitch. Your emotion was much better this week....
I still dont think you will win BUT... i do think you improved! I think you need to get out of head voice and I think then, we may see a significant change.
Brandon: Nicole, I enjoyed that performance, and I think you have a really nice voice. But every week you keep choosing “safe songs” and I would really like to see you choose something more fun and upbeat that shows off a little more personality. The competition is getting pretty tough, and now you need to show us something that makes you unique. Just have fun with your performance, and let us see more of ‘Nicole’ =)
Do you want Nicole to advance? Vote at the end of the show!

Next up tonight is Crystal singing "Part Of Your World" from The Little Mermaid:   Nick: Crystal, to me, this was a fairly weak performance. You have shown that you have alot of talent but this week, I didn't see that. You started off strong, but it sounded like you ran out of gas and just wanted to get the song over with. Keep strong and sing to your full potential!
Ksenia: I personally don't think this was your best. Some of the speaking parts were a little mumbled. Another thing (which this is just my opinion, and sometimes people are known for their own way of styling) is the dropping/dipthonging at each ending phrase tends to get a little old (use it sparingly) I think you'll have stronger songs later on.
Stacy: I liked this a lot... I didn't care for the excess in effects which seemed to mask the prettiness of your voice...
You were singing in a "head voice" which I don't like too much, but you still did a nice job on this. You weren't dropping off your end notes which I SOOOO LOVE! Much better in that department. It added more maturity to your voice. You need to work a bit on your pitch... there were a lot of pitchy spots throughout the song but overall, I did like this. I would like to hear you do a song in your "chest voice" because I think you will have tremendous power if you work on that!! Almost no professional singers (except maybe stage and opera) sing in their "head voice" so, since this is Virtual POP Idol... I would like to hear you concentrate on singing in your "chest voice"... I think you would rock!!
Brandon: Crystal, I don’t feel like this was your best performance. It sounded like you were really stretching to make some of the higher notes, and it wasn’t your natural range. But having said that, even your worst performance is awesome! You have a lot of talent, and I think you are the powerhouse in this competition. Just make sure you choose the right song.
Do you want Crystal to advance? Don't forget to vote for her!
