SITE F.A.Q. (Updated 07.26.03)
Why create a website?
- Why not? Basically, I was looking for a site that is purely on quotes about Sound of Music, and yes, I have found some but it wasn't enough, I want more! At that time, I've watched SOM about 10-15 times? and I've almost memorized half the script, so why not share them with you! I started with that, and then added some trivias, a few 'plus' pages here and there, added more trivias, until it has grown into what you're seeing right now!
Why the color?
- Hmm, I was having that debate with myself when I was about to start building the site. And I've decided to stay with the theme, the Sound of Music theme that is. I based it on the von Trapp's house, the Captain's uniform, same as the children's, the trees, the hills, all that "orangey" colored furnitures, *sigh* - it's just so - Sound of Music!
What's with the PLUS page?
- Oh, that page, well, I don't know where to put all that "crazy opinions and ideas" of mine, so why not take all of those things that doesn't seem to fit anywhere and put it all in one page? thus - the PLUS page is born! It even includes the complete script, a gallery, and..and...a SOM dictionary! huh, can anything be far out than that!
Where are the cast bios and all that?
- Did you notice that I've placed (un)official website links of the casts in the CAST page? (Unofficial site are Andrew's and Plummer's) That's because I don't have a page specially done for their bios 'and' because their official websites have more complete informations. So, if I made a page for that, other than the "data transfer issues", I would only be reposting everything from their official site and will make 'my' site (someone told me once) - a "replica". I try to make everything in here as "unique" as possible. So don't even think about copying mine or I'll...I'll...never mind. Be original.
