I Incantation- Incantations are written in the book of shadows. There are various incantations to do different tasks- vanquish demons and warlocks, truth spells, etc. L Levitation- Phoebes' newest power. The ability to lift herself in space and sort of... hover. (3.01) Lords of War- A clan of supernatural warriors that have been around since the beginning of time. They are protected by their sword from all of the weapons of man. They use this ability to start wars- almost all the wars in history. Their Code of Honour states that when one is disgraced (i.e. by losing his sword) he must steal all his powers back. (1.16) M Melinda Warren- The original Halliwell, the woman from whom all of the Charmed ones powers originate. She was burned at the stake after being betrayed by an ex-lover. She locked him inside a necklace with a curse, and by doing so, protected her daughter and allowed the family line to continue. She predicted that her family line would grow stronger with each generation and culminate in the arrival of three sisters who would be known as the Charmed Ones. (1.09) Morris- see DARRYL MORRIS. P Power of Three- Refers to the note written on the back of the spirit board Prue finds when they move back into Grams house. "To my three beautiful girls. May this give you the light to find the shadows. The power of three will set you free. Love, Mom." The last part refers to Prue, Piper and Phoebe working together to vanquish certain warlocks. By chanting "The power of three will set us free" in unison they can vanquish powerful warlocks. (1.01) Powers That Be- Usually refers to the council of white lighters, bosses of the lighters and, ultimately, the witches. The opposite of the Evil Council seen in Be Careful What You Witch For. They are responsible for all laws governing the conduct of lighters. Premonitions- Phoebes' original ability. The ability to see images in the past, present or future. Usually happens as a warning, or so the witch can affect the outcome of the vision. Tends to happen when said witch touches various objects, but can be spontaneous. (1.01) BACK | A-H | R-Z |
