General Help
Ok, I suppose we could discuss a couple topics
I've seen popping up here and there. I may add on as the game
progresses to help new members out with other things as well,
as this only covers various basic subjects.
Ranks:
Ranks are given as ways of deciding
who has done more in the rpg, is more active, and role plays
to their fullest extent. It doesn't mean that if you dwell in
the chat room you'll eventually get a promotion, it means that
if you come and do what you signed up to do at least once or
twice a week, then you'll probably getting ranks and being considered
for commisions before long.
- Enlisted
- Ranks you can attain by doing what you're supposed to, chat
room OP's have the power to promote or demote a member as
they see fit.
- Commisions
- Higher ranks attainable only by direct authority of a senior
member or webmaster of the site.
- Rank
Freeze - The stopping of a members promotion or demotion
for a set number of days/weeks.
Rewards:
Rewards vary greatly
in the chat rooms. They are also decided by the OP who runs
the mission. If it is a harder mission, he or she will probably
give better rewards. Please do remember that rewards do not
always include an Ability Point increase. It can be a monetary
reward, a new weapon, new equipment, promotion, or if the mission
was that extreme a small vehicle.
Ability Points:
Ability Points are a necessity in
this RPG, they completely define the abilities and weaknesses
of your character in numerical stats. You are capable of getting
more points through missions or training when there isn't a
mission being run.
- Strength
- How strong your character is. If he/she has a strength of
2, they are not gonna go into the weight room and bench 200lb.
- Stamina - The endurance of you
character. If it is low, you won't be jogging very far or doing
a long mission, that is for sure.
- Shooting
- Your shooting capacities with guns without laser guides, scopes,
or zoom scopes. Basically 0-400 ft away.
- Hand to
Hand - Your close quarters combat abilities. If he/she
has a hand to hand that is very low, then they are more or less
dead in a fight with knives or other bladed weapons.
- Stealth
- How well your character can move quietly, sneakily, covertly,
etc. If they try sneaking with a low stealth, they'll more then
likely get caught or shot...
- Sniping
- How well your character can shoot from a longer distance with
rifles, and/or heavier anti-armor weapons.
