 Dear friend,

Buying or selling a home can be one of the most intimate experiences of your life. You need a
professional REALTOR® you can trust -- but how can you trust someone you don't know?
We're going to work closely together to meet your goals, and I'm going to know a lot about you
before escrow closes. Isn't it right that you know about me, your REALTOR®?

I have been part of the California real estate industry for ten years, but even as a teenager I would
scan the "open house" section of my hometown newspaper and daydream about my family living
there. I was a "professional lookie-loo" and educated myself about housing styles and
construction. Many years of growth later I entered the real estate industry as a salesperson as a
way to finance my college education. I quickly discovered that I love matching people with homes!

I met my husband, Jim, in my final year of college. We were married in September 1993. Our son,
Andrew, was born in October 1996 at Lake Arrowhead's Mountains Community Hospital. Jim
has been a mountain resident since he was seven years old, and we agreed to relocate to Lake
Arrowhead shortly after we married. That was April 1994 -- I've been with Coldwell Banker Sky
 Ridge Realty since "day one"!

Andrew is just finishing up the first grade at Lake Arrowhead Elementary School, and he is a
Tiger Cub with the Boy Scouts of America. Jim is one of the den's leaders. We're involved in
various community efforts and organizations to help our community. Jim and I are actively
involved in renaissance faires as Elizabethan period re-enactors, and we travel to various faires
around the country as well as give community demonstrations at the schools when asked.
Our family enjoys camping, off-roading, fishing, and travelling together. It's not uncommon
for us to get in the car and simply drive "thataway" to see where we'll end up. We had three
cats (twin thieves Bonnie and Clyde and their partner-in-crime, Kisah) who keep us
challenged and entertained. (Sadly, we lost Bonnie in 2002 to cancer and I just don't have
the heart to remove her from this letter.)

I approach real estate directly, and I believe in comprehensive communication between my
clients and myself. My business practices have adapted over the years to meet market changes,
but my roots haven't changed. My ethics and approach remain the same: Represent my clients
to the best of my ability, maintain my personal and professional integrity, and get the job done.
I am happy to be an advocate for my clients.

I hope this little peek into my life entertains you. I want you to be comfortable with me, so when
your escrow closes and keys are exchanged, you think of me as "your" REALTOR® for life.
I look forward to meeting you.

 Most sincerely,

 Theresa Grant,
 REALTOR®
