The schools in the Rim of the World school district are excellent! Many of them are California Distinguished Schools. As a parent with a child in the school district I can tell you that the classroom sizes are small, the teachers are dedicated and caring, and parent participation is highly encouraged. I´ve been a "room mom" for two years and I´m on the PTA board to chair the Halloween carnival at Lake Arrowhead Elementary School in 2003. The after-school care provided by Rim Recreation and Parks is "fun" according to my son, and he always comes home with a smile and his homework done on the days he attends. I can´t say enough good things about our public school system! I encourage you to visit the district site.
