Arthur Francis Anderson
Arthur was born March 9th, 1889 in Ohio. He died October 30th, 1931 of a malignant growth known as sarcoma. Click here to read his obituary. He married Ethel Carrie Savage on September 13th, 1913 in Morgan Co., Ohio. Ethel Carrie was born December 23rd, 1894 and died June 20th, 1966 of cancer if I remember correctly.
1920 Census: Arthur 30 and an Iceman by profession, who is now married to Ethel 25. My grandfather Bruce tells me that Ethel, his mother, was tired of living at home and said the next man who asked her (or that she saw) she was 'gonna marry'. Listed living with them are Emma, Gordon and Oliver 57 and Sarah listed as 59. **There ages are never quite right.
The 1930 census lists Sarah who is now listed as 67 with her son Arthur now 41 and Ethel 35. Children now are Emogene (Emma), Gordon, John, Sarah and Bruce.
