My belief is that he was married before Lydia because he brought with him a daughter into the marriage named Alice M. Eppley.

Frank, 26 and Lydia, 22 Roberts, in Newark, Licking Co., OH. They have one son, George, 1 year. Also listed but with no name is a child 4/12. I would assume that is probably John W. Alice M. was listed living with the grandparents.
