Elizabeth Spencer-Anderson
Sarah was born in November 1861 according to the census records and her headstone that is in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. William (b. 1833-) and Mary A.(b. 1835 - ) Spencer were both born in Ohio. She was married to Oliver Perry Anderson on July 4th, 1881 in Morgan Ohio. She died from a car hitting her on October 15th, 1932

Former Resident Struck by Auto, Is Fatally Hurt
Mrs. Sarah Anderson Dies Soon After Accident -- Driver Exonerated.
Mrs. Sarah Anderson, 71, former resident of Zanesville, was fatally injured when
struck by an automobile driven by Russell Beard, 17, at the intersection of Main
and Fifth streets in McConnelsville, Saturday evening. Death ensued in a half
hour after the accident from shock and probably internal injuries. An
investigation was made by officials of McConneslville, and the driver was
exonerated from blame on the fact that the woman stepped from behind another
automobile directly in front of Beard's car. In the Beard car were his mother,
Mrs. Charles Beard and her sister. The Beards live near McConnelsville. A native
of Morgan county, Mrs. Anderson spent most of her life in the Neelyville
vicinity. She lived one year, in 1913, in this city, and had many friends here,
gained through frequent visits with local relatives. She was a member of the
Ebenezer M. E. church at Neelyville. Surviving are one son, William of Blendy
avenue; one daughter, Mrs. Jessie Hill, near Neelyville; three sisters, Mrs.
Frank Bennett, of Columbia street; Mrs. Mayme Rox of Central avenue, and Mrs.
Kenneth Richardson of Dillon road; three brothers, Albert Spencer, Putnam
avenue; John and C. J. Spencer, of Neelyville; seven grandchildren and several
great-grandchildren. She was the widow of Oliver Anderson.
