MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIRMAN…
 
 

Assalamualaikum

Firstly, on behalf of the “Study Tour to Germany” team, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to all our sponsors for their great support. As for the team members, CONGRATULATIONS! --- we have finally made it after one annd a half years of hard work.

“Study Tour to Germany” team was set up in November 1999 by a group of College of Business and Management undergraduates after we came to know about the program offered by DAAD to foreign students. However, we were further inspired when Prof. Karl Wagner from University of Applied Science in Rosenheim, Germany visited our university. From here onwards, all of us work hard towards one common goal --- that is, a study tour to Germany despite our hectic ‘student life’.

Here, I would like to take this opportunity to extend greatest gratitude to Prof. Karl Wagner for his support. This study tour aims to promote and create productive links between Malaysian undergraduates and their counterparts in Germany. This is inline with the changing environment of today’s world, which is moving towards ‘globalization’. It is undeniable that this program has benefited all the team members tremendously. From this study tour, we gain more exposure, which play a part in preparing us to face the dynamic working environment in the future. This program also teaches us to work as a team and exchanging opinion. And what we have gained most is something that cannot be put in words --- the wonderful nine days experience that we had in Germany.

Here, my sincere appreciation goes to our beloved advisor, Dr. Yusof Ahmad for his guidance and support throughout the whole program. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in making this program a success. Special thanks to Prof. Ir. Dr. Zainul, Pn Kamariah, Pn Norlela, En Hisshamuddin, En Nik and Miss Vathana as well.
