This week, it was a real challenge to find a dictionary definition for my chosen word. In fact, I wasn't able to find a dictionary definition for it at all, hence this week's word of the week was not my first choice.
Initially, I wanted the word of the week to be 'faecophobioa', and I searched many dictionaries. The first person to give me information leading to a dictionary definition for feacophobia will be credited. Please, if you find a dictionary definition for this word, e-mail me and we'll sort something out.
Anyway, the dictionary used for triskaidekaphobia was a shitty CD-based dictionary. The Oxford Compendium or some such tosh.
You'd think that one of - if not the - leading producers of dictionaries could afford to hire some decent programmers. But no, they fund a project that is shipped full of bugs that can be noticed within a few minutes of loading the program.
