#8 Wayzata Upsets #1 Cretin DH

Last Friday the Wayzata Trojans took the field in a game they knew that they could win, but they needed to it prove to the rest of the state that they could be #1 rated Cretin Derham-Hall. Thus last Friday the Wayzata Trojans held off the Raiders to remain unbeaten at home at and finish the regular season with a 7-1 record.

Quick and Dirty on the Game

Cretin Derham-Hall started out fast and furious marching right down the field and scroing with a 15 yard shovel pass to Rashon Powers-Neal. "We knew they were going to score we didn't know how often though" said Ben Roscoe. Thus the Trojans recieved the kickoff and marched 73 yards and capped it off with the Quarterback Jordie Ruff diving into the endzone on a quarterback sneak. After the first drive by Cretin, they never really got started again.

At halftime the scoreboard read Wayzata ahead 24-21. The second half saw the ball game just go back and forth. Wayzata putting up over 400 yards of total offense and Cretin Quarterback throwing for over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. The final score read Wayzata 44 to Cretin's 36.
