According to a mathematical prediction or forecasting theory, a growth factor is any factor which causes "growth" to an event line, growth meaning increase or decrease. By the way a growth factor can be defined, a net change can be defined as a growth factor. This means a Net Change Corollary is available to the Congruent Growth Relationship, which follows:
(d > c) Event a member of series of events E (Ea) ,occuring during interval c member of series of time intervals T (Tc); when added or multiplied by a net change (NC-) occuring during the same interval of the same time series; is equal to the congurent event a member of series of event E (Ea), ocuring during later interval d series of time intervals T(Td). In the investment industry a growth factor and a net change is known as a growth component.
