Born in Karachi on 25th Dec 1958. Completed his secondary education from Cantt. Public School, Karachi and higher Secondary from Allama Iqbal College. Gold Medalist in English / Urdu debates in inter school, inter colleges as well as University and then Pakistan level, did his Graduation.

Selected Airline trade as carrier and joined American Express to step in the trade. Got rapid promotions and in 1977 joined Saudi Arabian Airlines, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and was designated as Marketing Manager at Armco office.

Born with a cooperative and helping nature Mr. Siddiqui never left any occasion to help the needy up to his best abilities

While in Saudi Arabia he did his computer-programming diploma from University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran and his Master of Business Administration in marketing and modern management from college of professional Education Jersey, United Kingdom.

Resigned from Saudi Arabian Airlines in 1991 and repatriated to Karachi Pakistan. Established his own travel agency Visa Travel in 1991 and started participating actively in Human / National welfare.

In 1994 Mr. Siddiqui represented Govt of Pakistan and visited Japan and headed the High-level delegation of Pakistan Government, and dealt successfully some business collaboration.Being highly influenced in political, diplomatic, beaurocratic, and high government official circle Mr. Siddiqui helped thousands of people / Families to get their daughters marry, always helping the youth to get jobs as per their education, recently got about three hundred youth employed in Citi Bank.

Mr. Siddiqui was selected as Additional Country Chief of International Human Rights Commission in 1999 and considering his dedication to his post the Honourable World Chairman Dr.Muhammad Shahid Amin Khan Promoted Mr. Siddiqui as the Country Chief for Pakistan in June 2000. He is also nominated by the Commission, for the post of the Advisor to the Governor of Sindh

Honourable Hamid M. Siddiqui was appointed as the Ambassador of International Human Rights Commission for Canada and left Pakistan on November 2000 and he took over charge there on 1st of December by the order of Excellency World Chairman.

The World Chairman International Human Rights Commission Excellency Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Shahid Amin Khan during his official Visit to United States and Canada announced major changing's in the management of Commission and appointed Ambassador Hamid as Acting Secretary General of the Commission with his Secretariat at Ontario Canada from 10th of March 2002.
