Online Survey Sites
The sites listed below are in alphabetical order. The word "recommended" will be found in light grey under the title of any site that I've had extremely positive experiences with. Since some survey sites are more active than others, there are several sites that I haven't worked with much -- I will add more information to their profiles as I continue to work with them. If you'd rather not read up on these sites, check out the Quick Links list to the right.
Gang & Gang offers cash or prize drawings for participating in their surveys. I just joined this one, so I haven't received any survey invitations yet.

GlobalTestMarket rewards members through points that are redeemable for cash after you have earned at least 1000 points ($5). I'm recommending them because I was invited to 14 surveys in the first month. Unfortunately, I didn't qualify for most of the surveys and only earned a couple of points because of that, but you might qualify.
Go Global offers drawings for cash or gift certificates for participating in their surveys. I haven't been invited to one of their surveys yet.
Greenfield is one of the largest survey sites around and offers cash or entries into a sweepstakes for participation. I got 18 survey invitations in one month, and accessed more surveys on their SurveyCenter website. I would recommend them, except that I've heard from others that they are not sending out the checks that they promise. I should be getting a $1 check from them eventually -- if I receive it, I'll add my recommendation.
Harris Poll offers HiPoints for participating in surveys, which are redeemable for prizes. The $5 gift certificates seem to be the best options among the prizes. They also enter you into a sweepstakes.
Intellisurvey rewards members with drawings and cash. I have not been invited to a survey yet.
I.think offers drawings and cash for their members' participation. I have not been invited to a survey yet.
I've seen a lot of advertising about this site. Ipsos will reward its members by placing them into a cash drawing after completing a survey. I received two survey invitations in the first month.
Kelly Research rewards its members with gift certificates or cash. I have not been invited to any surveys yet.
Keynote offers Amazon gift certificates for participating in their surveys. They are different from other sites because the surveys involve you evaluating a website and providing feedback. I haven't received any survey invitations yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

I have been a member of this panel for many years now -- it was the first online survey site I ever signed up with. They reward their members with points that are redeemable for cash or prizes. The number of points vary greatly from survey to survey, depending on how long they are. I have already received a check for $15 and am very close to earning another $10.
Livesurveys offers cash and entries into a drawing for participating in their surveys. I have not received any survey invitations yet.
Mindfield rewards members with cash and prize drawings. I was invited to one survey in the first month, but unfortunately didn't qualify for it. I'm not sure how much cash they usually pay out, but the survey I was invited to would have given me $2.

NFO gives out points for participation in surveys, which are redeemable for cash, raffles, or prizes. I received two survey invitations in my first month of being a member. I recommend them because they also reward active members. I received bonus points just for signing in frequently and participating. It's obvious that they care about their members and want to reward them.
The Nielsen NetPanel combines surveys with a small program that monitors your internet activity. Although it sounds like spyware, it is not -- they just gather some information about their members surfing habits to gather in a report. This is the same Nielsen company that monitors families' TV viewing habits to report which shows are getting the most viewers. I have not received any survey invitations yet, but that could be because my computer is in storage and the one I'm using does not have the program installed.
NPD enters members into a drawing for cash or prizes for participating in surveys. I received two survey invitations in my first month of being a member.
