Stuart Price started doing his own music, and nowadays it's still having success from some of that records! As a remixer and a producer, he has done lots of songs, all alone and with the help of friend of him. Right now we're gonna introduce all of this bands in which Stuart has the very own responsability:
Paying homage to his french roots, and in the middle of the 90's, when french electronic music was in everybody's mouth, Les Rythmes Digitales (LRD) were born. His first album that was the beginning for a successful career, and was called 'Liberation'. It's not one of his best works, but it's easy to recognise some of Stuart's sounds and intentions that he's using now. In 1999, the consagration of his quality as a musician arrived with 'Darkdancer'. Electronic, funk and dark. Not a success in sales, but musically, stated a base for those who want to make good electronic music for the next millennium. In 2005, Citroën used one of the songs off this album, 'Jacques Your Body' as a soundtrack for a famous ad for a car, in which appear as a robot dancing. This fact made a quick re-release of this album, making this song the hit that deserved. Also, later that year, american rapper Missy Elliott used a sample from 'Music Makes You Lose Control' for her nes song 'Lose Control' (Stuart turned back the favour doing a remix for the song, as you can see on the Works section).
