03.12.07 "Killer" News!

Sawdust

As you may know, this last november The Killers released a fantastic collection of B-Sides called Sawdust including, as a bonus track, Stuart’s Thin White Duke Mix of their hit Mr. Brightside.

Well, in a recent interview with him from the german magazine INTRO, Stuart said that he had been in Vegas working with two songs for The Killers’ B-Sides Album. Looking at the tracklist, we can now confirm that “Leave the bourbon on the shelf” and “Sweet Talk” are produced and recorded by The Killers and Stuart Price! It’s a brand new sound for him, rough, rocky, but catchy and colourful. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy these fantastic tracks!

A lot of Stuart Price mixes are coming out these days: Seal - Amazing (Thin White Duke Mix, Edit & Dub) Justice - D.A.N.C.E. (Les Rythmes Digitales Remix) Ghosts - The World is Outside (Stuart Price Version) Stuart Price has produced the whole Seal's new album, but for now you can purchase the single from iTunes, which is "Amazing" and includes the Main Version and the Thin White Duke Mixes. He has also rescued his LRD nickname to make one of the best remixes of the year, for Justice's D.A.N.C.E. single. And last (but not least), some months ago he produced an alternate radio version for Ghosts' second single, "The World is Outside". Somehow, this mix recalls the sound of the Stuart-produced New Order songs. Unfortunately, it looks like at the end Stuart Price hasn't collaborated in Kylie's new album.

It's been too many months since we haven't known something about Stuart, but now we have a very important announcement (not official yet): Stuart is working on Kylie Minogue's next album! He will join Calvin Harris, Pet Shop Boys and Groove Armada on the australian's comeback.Source

Stuart is also working on Madonna's next album, and played Live Earth with her last 7.7.07. In Madonna's official website you can see a little funny clip of Stuart presenting himself. Don't miss it!Source

Sorry for the lack of updates! I've been so busy with college and work. But there's nothing like a new Stuart mix to bring us back together! Jacques Lu Cont has remixed Gwen Stefani's brand new single: 4 In The Morning. After the successful mixes of What You Waitin For, seems like Stuart and Gwen like to work when it's about "time" (Waitin, 4 in the morning...) Here are the titles of the mixes:

11.02.07 BREAKING NEWS: And the Winner is...

Stuart!!! Stuart Price has just won his second Grammy for his remix of Coldplay's Talk, as Jacques Lu Cont. I feel, as a fan, so happy to see again Stuart's work recognised with an award.
