Deck the Halls!

First. The list was born healthy and is now alive and well and growing.

Second. OK. I am repeating myself. But! The list is alive and well and growing! Period. I repeat myself now, because I feel strongly that it is important to not mention or discuss it anymore. I am ever so grateful for those who have shown an interest and those that have helped and if anyone else would like information, please write me or go to the List Information Page.

One of the most amazing things about e-mail lists is that they take on a life of their own, so I was actually not completely kidding when I indicated above that "the list was born healthy and is now alive......" I truly believe it should be a little private sanctuary for those who bear the responsibility of caretaking another individual so, consequently, I feel it is my duty not to discuss it further.

Today's entry is entitled "Deck the Halls" because I am in "one of those moods" again! Last time this mood hit, I rearranged all the furniture in my office and cleaned my closet. I am just feeling an incredible Christmas "nesting instinct". I want to fluff and decorate and wrap and primp! And, I -- want -- to -- bake!

So, I am going to cut this short and head for the kitchen. I spent an incredible amount of money at the commissary on baking supplies and by golly!, I am going to use them! (I even have a package of coconut in my refrigerator. And I never have coconut on hand so I am excited to get it used!) It really does take so little to please me.

I also have 6 pounds of brown sugar, 4 pounds of confectioners sugar and 10 pounds of regular sugar. Oh, and 15 pounds of flour. Of course I have lots of other things. (For instance, I actually have chocolate chips, bars of baking chocolate & cocoa powder in my pantry at one time!) I feel so rich ;-0

So blessings to all of you, but this little (metaphorically speaking of course!) lady is heading for the kitchen with mixer blades glistening and shredder humming!
