Tuesday, November 12, 1895

I heard today that Lizzie Hurt was married. So another of my

old girls has gone. They are all married now that I used to go

with down home. I always had a good time with Lizzie and

will ever remember the last good visit I had with her when she

came up to our place last August.

Friday, December 27, 1895

I left Barnesville and came down to St. Cloud. Stayed all

night with Hilda. Went up to Charley Hubbards and stayed

until Sunday evening. Went back to Hilda's. Came home

Monday morning.

Wednesday, January 01, 1896

Saw John Tripp the

I went down to Martin's and paid my note. I do not owe any

last time

one a cent now. The first time I have been entirely out of debt

for four years.

I went to Shockafee Lake to scale for the Foley-Bean Lumber

Co. for $26.00 per month and board.

Friday, April 10, 1896

I came home from the woods. Was gone just three months. I

was glad to get home and see the folks and the little girl.
