Now that I'm older, I've decided to start taking real naps. I mean naps that last at least an hour. I've realized that it's a great way to get recharged for more sports and more learning and more fun! Sometimes, if Mommy's not home, I'll sleep in the sling or the stroller. But my preference is always the big bed with Mommy right there beside me until I fall asleep. The soft sounds of Mommy and Daddy's voices in the living room as they try not to wake me up give me wonderful afternoon dreams.

Of course, I still welcome anyone who wants to join me for a nap. Gigi and Simon always agree that naps are a good idea! And recently Mommy and Daddy introduced me to Sleepy Bear; he likes to sleep near me, too! In fact, I've finally decided that sleep is nothing to be afraid of. In fact, it's very pleasant. About a month ago, I decided that I would set a 9:30 p.m. bedtime for myself. No matter what Mommy and Daddy were doing, I made it very clear to them that this was my bedtime. Oh, I was fair about it: I would give them plenty of notice! Around 9:26 or 9:27 every night, I would start to warn them that bedtime was coming up. Now they know that that's bedtime! And since they know, I've just decided to start changing it again............. I've been considering 10:30 p.m., but of course that would mean waking up an hour later, at about 9:30 a.m. I don't think Mommy and Daddy would mind that. I'm going to try it out and let you know.
