First:
WOoOo S:t Patrick's Day! I Know, I know, I'm not Irish, but do I care? Of Course Not! Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day... they say... hehe. I feel a bit loopy. It might be my costume. Yes. Costume. *sigh* I couldn't help myself.

I'm Wearing:

  • Green Lace Bra (underneath clothes, thank you)
  • Massive amount of green glitter sparkles all over my face, especially around my eyes. No, I mean it. _Massive_.
  • Two rrrreally thick bracelet/cuffs, one on each hand wrist made out of that thick, metallic xmas tree garland (green), wrapped twice and tied to stay on. They sparkle so nice in the sun, but they're a bitch in doors coz they frazzle and feel warm and funny. It may sound stupid, but I kind'a like them. Somehow my embarrassement level is rather low today.
  • A Nametag saying "Leprechaun", of course, on my chest.

"But you're not Irish! You're over doing it!" I hear you think (um). Well. My reasoning:

1)Swedish and Irish both end with "ish" so that counts for something.
2)House of Pain has a song that starts something like "you see I'm Irish, but I'm not a Leprechaun".. well, I'm not Irish, but my nametag says I'm a Leprechaun, so there ya go.
3)Hey, if I celebrate Black History Month and Martin Luther King's Day alongside with my school, then I figure I can do this too.

Second:
I donated blood today, for the second time ever. See? *showing off my "Be Nice To Me, I Gave Blood Today" sticker, above the Leprechaun tag* I didn't even know the blood drive was starting today, I got a call last night from a Red Cross volunteer reminding me, because I gave last time. This time was sooo much easier. I knew the procedure, knew to ask for a blood pressure cuff to help them get the blood flowing, and to tell about my small veins and all that. I got a bit poo though coz when she tested my blood for iron levels, it took awhile to drop in the fluid like it's supposed to to show it's okay, and just stayed there.. floating. Luckily it dropped, so I'm just low on iron, but not alarmingly. The nurse told them to give me something to drink while the drew the blood to help it. And it went so much faster and easier than last time! It just poured out'a the arm and into the bag like nothing. And the pizza, soda and crackers afterwards made it even more worth the while.

So I'm gunna bug you again. DONATE BLOOD!! Aaah. Now me and my sparkly self will leave :) Have a Good Saint Patty's day!
