After enjoying her independently released
:The Coming of Age" CD, Clubland finally caught Charlottesville’s
singer-songwriter Wendy Repass live at last week’s "Alternative
Thursday," We came away even more impressed with this romantic
folkie with the big, eccentric voice and powerful, phase-shifting
ballads (like the transcendent "Trust My Heart").
In a musical town simply teeming over with cool acoustic femmes,
Wendy’s the Clubland wild card favorite.
