I phoned my Mama to tell her about all my purchases. She was pleased for me but told me that I had to clear space in the wardrobe and give away some of my old outfits. This is something that I have always found it hard to do, but agreed on the condition that I could wear them one last time. | |
I then spent the evening with a friend wearing some of the dresses that I had had for years, including a pink mini-dress and several long evening dresses. Although some looked very dated, wearing them again was fun and brought back happy memories. |

That evening, I met up with some other girls and went to Ron Storme's and the WayOut Club. |
I wore my white tasselled dress which is great for dancing. |

Among friends I saw that evening was the lovely Caroline Eggerton, one of the founders of WayOut and a sophisticated beauty who I think looks like Liz Hurley. |
