It was a warm sunny day, so for the first time this year I put on a summer frock; my Mama had given me a blue dress with white spots which I wore with blue shoes. First I picked some daffodils in the garden |

Then in response to a request from my host I modelled three of my long dresses, the ivory ball gown that I had recently bought from Cornucopia |

and my red "Scarlet O'Hara" dress that I had bought some years ago in New York for one of the drag balls. |

| It is a deliciously feminine feeling to be outside on a sunny day wearing a lovely long gown. | |
