...About myself

I originally come from Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the North-east of England, but am currently living and working in Thailand. In the past, I have lived and worked in Singapore, and have also spent some time in Indonesia. I have visited many other countries in Asia, including Laos, China, Malaysia and the Phillipines.

My time in South East Asia has been spent working mainly as a lecturer in engineering mathematics and physics, where I have worked at several universities and institutes of higher education.

Apart from my work as an engineering mathematician, my other interests include creative writing and learning foreign languages (I speak Indonesian fairly fluently). Recently, I have been learning to speak Thai...more>

Has 'Orange Sound' ever been submitted to (and turned down by) a book publisher?

No, it has never been submitted for consideration by any publisher.

Why not?

Have you read the summary?!!! Publishers and their agents are inundated on a daily basis with new manusripts from aspiring authors. I suspect most summaries submitted are scanned and binned, and I don't want to be scanned and binned; at least, not yet! I may, however, consider this course of action at sometime in the future.
