things haven't changed that much
my lady weighs over a ton
has buldging eyes
a wide rearend
and likes to run around with her top down
i think i would look at them with squinted eye
but, with this ladies top down
you know you're riding in style

Memories of the fifties are filled with large, shiney, tail finned autos. That's because Detroit was building barge sized cars, and americans were buying them in record numbers. Almost 58 million cars were made during the fifties, and the 7.9 million vehicles sold in 1955 would not be excedded until well into the following decade.Miles traveled in 1950 totaled 458 billion.A decade later that number had doubled.Americans were moving in cars featuring huge v-8 engines, padded dashboards, wrap around winshields, vast expanses of chrome and sheet metal, and even in some cases air conditioning.
