Clubs & Groups Leicester Disabled Integrated Sports Club Leicester D.I.S.C is a registered charity that provides activities for everyone! New members are welcome and are invited to drop in to any of their friendly informal meetings. Meetings are held at Aylestone Leisure Centre (Knighton Road East) every Thursday evening from 7pm to10pm. D.I.S.C provide a range of activities including Boccia, Darts, Table Tennis, Pool, Draughts, Connect 4, Dominoes and a variety of board games. Outdoor activities include Sports days for the disabled, previously held in Rugby, Nottingham and Hinckley (in which LDISC have done particularly well over the years!) and they usually arrange a trip away during the summer. As a registered charity D.I.S.C also take part in numerous fundraising activities. In recent years they have supported many local Galas and Funday's through attending with their stall. Events they have attended include The Friends of Blaby Road Park's Annual Sunday Funday, Anstey Gala, The Scouts Funday on Willow Park Wigston, Knighton Park Funday, The Lions Funday on Blaby Park and the Loughborough Canal Festival.
