Memories Revisited - Chapter 15

When Lucky pulled into Audrey's driveway a look of shock came across Liz's face. "Lucky what are we doing here? The house has been sold."

Lucky looked at her and smiled. "I know, I bought it."

"You what?"

"When I found out Daniel had put the house on the market, I knew I had to buy it because I know how much it means to you, so it's yours."

"Oh Lucky, thank you so much."

Lucky helped Liz and the children out of the car and into the house. Liz and Lucky got the children settled and then sat down on the couch.

Lucky took Liz's hand and faced her. "I think it would be a good idea for you and the children to stay here, then once you sort threw everything we'll think about another arrangement. But for now I think you need some time to yourself."

"Lucky you're really sweet and I appreciate everything you have done. I do think some time alone will do me some good, but I don't want to be a part from you."

"You wont be, I'm right n the Harborview apartments, I'll be here all the time."

"I can't thank you enough." Liz leaned in to hug Lucky and he hugged her back. Just then Dylan and Gabrielle came running down the steps. "Hey kids, come here for a second, I need to talk to you."

The kids came over and sat down on the couch between Liz and Lucky. Liz then explained to them they would be living in Port Charles from now on and that Lucky and his daughter were going to be a part of their lives. The children accepted the change and Liz told them that their father did a bad thing and won't be around anymore. Liz tried to make her children understand as best she could, she knew it was tough, but with Lucky's help she knew it could be done.

Gabrielle looked over at Lucky and took his hand in her little hand. "Do you love my mommmy?

Lucky smiled at the little girl, "Yes I do very much"

"She's the best mommy."

"I know she is and I promise to take care of her along with you and your brother."

Gabrielle smiled at Lucky and then gave him a kiss ion the cheek. Just as the kids were walking away, Dylan came back over to Lucky and gave him a hug. Without saying a word, Dylan let go of Lucky and he and Gabrielle went back upstairs.

Liz looked at Lucky and noticed he had tears in his eyes. He was so happy to be back in Liz's life and wanted nothing more to be a real father to her children. He took Liz in his arms and held her as they both sobbed.
