1. As a group we decided to have refreshments at every meeting for now on! We will be rotating weeks so not one person has to
continuously bake or go to the store. Members will be reimbursed for the money they spend on the refreshments.

2. We went around the group asking what each member thought were the strengths and weaknesses of the Safe Zone’s
Presentation:
a. The highlight for all members was the presence of Dr. Harris
b. We have already received around 35 names of students wanting to become allies. Those names have been added to
the informational mailing list.

3. Discussion of funding for the Allies program continues to be one of our biggest concerns. Letters are being sent out by Nikki to
the following departments and/or organizations: Residence Life, Student Organizations, Department of Human Sexuality,
and Department of Social Work. We are asking them for a donation to help support Widener Allies.

4. Continuing to try to organize all of our resources we have created a binder to hold all important information on the group. It is
our hopes that this binder will continue to grow and be passed on from year to year. It will also be present at all meetings
incase members wanted to look up certain information on the group.

5. The Social Chair was asked to organize a social event prior to the end of the semester. Possible suggestions are anything from a
movie night to dinner.

6. The website is now half way finished and all suggestions are valuable to its continuous success! Please email the group your
suggestions.

7. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 12th at 7:00pm in room G of the University Center.
