After their death in 1996. All relations and well wishes got together in an inaugeral ceremony to publish Mr. Albert Wijegunawardene's autobiography in Sinhalese language known as "InimagaPamula".Which means "Under the Ladder", Onthe 03.11.1996 we started selling this book and collected a sum of Rs.30000.00. We could sell some of Mrs.Chithra Wijegunawardene's Jewelry and got another sum of Rs.30000.00.We now have a sum of Rs.70000.00 in the fund which we will not use.Our target is to collect Rs.5,00,000.00 for the fund and from 50% of the interest collected, to do small projects as we have mentioned earlier.

On the 08.08.1999 all relations and well wishers got together to organised an armsgiving ceremony to convey merit to Mr.and Mrs Wijegunawardene.
