It said this virus is totally different from the one which was found in 1997. 6600 something chicken were killed in order to save the others lives. I hope no one (human) will suffer from this disease again. Just a quick look of what had happened in 1997 in HK. In April 1997, 4500 chicken died in a farm, and a new virus (H5N1) was first found from the death chicken. 18 people got this virus, and 6 of them were killed. Then H5N1 changed into a new type of viruses (H9N2 and H6N1) and two people got this new virus. In Dec, 1997, all the chicken in HK (1,300,000 in total ) were sent to destroy. Since then, metal cages have been used instead of using wood cages. Also people were educated again to prevent the grow of viruses, to clean their equipment probably, and to be aware of the personal hygiene. The results of the provincial election are not yet ready, but I know, we are going to have a new government. I don't like to talk about politic things here in my journal. First, I can't vote (this time) coz I am not yet a Canada resident. Second, even if I can vote this time, I will not vote. Maybe I will vote the green which will surely lose today. I don't agree with Gordon Campell's ideas. Cutting taxes will help the mid-class more or less. BUT NOT A LOT, and that is not the best solution. He said this is the best way. Well well, we will see. 5.17.2001 (Thur) Cloudy (@14:49) I watched a movie, and I like Sausalito. I wanna go there one day. I tried to finish "€ΡΆΒΆΒ" this morning, but ..... sigh... anyway..no rush no rush. (@15:29) I reorganized the archives of my journal. Nice~~ Also, I read some of my old entries...lol...sometimes, I think I am too silly. (@15:43) Kevin is going to the China 7000 years of innovation exhibition at Science World. I went to this exhibition about three months ago with my friend's cousin...lol..I forgot his name already..lol. It's worth to see this exhibition, trust me. (@20:10) Kevin just got his yahoo homepage up. hohohoho. (@23:01) Thank God... Martin FINALLY came back to Vancouver!!! I don't need to walk through the cambie bridge..horrayyyyy. I'm going to meet him tomorrow at noon..hohoho.... and give him back all his letters...hohoho. and get my pay.. hohoho... (@23:44) I just noted that the picture I put on this page is soooo disgusting. Honestly, the first time I saw this picture, I though it's awesome. The cat is cute. | 5.18.2001 (Fri) Shady (@5:57) Sometimes, I really wanna read books in order to read and understand my dreams. What does that mean? Climbing rocks with Charlie for a free movie? tried several times and almost fell down? People were around but no one helped me? hmm....strange.. (@14:13) My dad is on his vacation again..lol sounds like he works on a firefighter shift, 24hours on and 48 hours off. I was thinking about my dreams again this afternoon. That's really strange, usually when I woke up, I forgot 70% of my dreams. But it's different this time, I still clearly remember the whole dreams. Was it an omen of what will happen in the near future? then was it a good omen? or a bad omen? Climbing rocks, does it mean a big challenge? With Charlie, it is relatived to Charlie? Shelly reminded me of the job interview this Sunday. Aha.. big challenge. Charlie is going to drive me to the interview. Aha...related to Charlie. Damn ... tried several times and almost fell down? also ppl around but no one helped me??!!!! Does it mean I am going to .....ahh.... oh my god... (@14:35) I feel guilty when I read my profile. (@15:30) It's going to be a fun weekend. First, I am going to eat sushi with friends tonight which is very nice to do. Both eating sushi and hanging out with friends. Tomorrow, Charlie and I and my cousins will go to a movie, Shrek. I am looking forward to watching this movie. Then Sunday afternoon, @14:30, I will have a job interview at the ballroom in PNE. Well... I am not yet ready for the interview.. :p. kind of frustrated now. >.< (@23:58) Plans have been changed. I watched Shrek this evening with Charlie and cousins. It was so funny, and it was even better than Japanese anime. Shrek is not a big stupid ugly ogre. NO, definitely not!! Some more about Shrek will be coming up tomorrow. no pro!! Tomorrow is going to be fun as well. Dad, Charlie, my two loving cousins and I are going to catch "mommy is coming back" ..lol...."The mummy returns" Charlie and I watched it like 1 or 2 weeks ago. But we are going to watch it again. 5.19.2001 (Sat)Sunshine after shower....nice~~~ (@9:24) A morning coffee is nice... (@17:41) I was having so much fun today. Alfred, my cousin, and I were trying to find a song at Napster this morning, but we couldn't find it. It would be so thankful if anyone of you tells me where I can find the song "I never had a dream come true" Anyway, we caught The Mummy Returns after lunch in Richmond. It is a MUST-GO PLACE if you visit Vancouver!!! Then, we went to "swim", played in the pool for 45 minutes. We were absolutely exhausted. Ok... I am going out for dinner with them now.
