The Fourth of July

 - By Reanna Willardson

And yet this is the only time in my life that we watched fireworks on TV! how horrible, eh? I was disappointed and yet I still had a good time... but still, I mean, I really wanted to go to Hemet and see the fireworks there! But hey, on the other point of view I was happy that we didn't! I was so exhausted from a lot of things that I cant remember.... I played neopets half the day... and watched TV too.... well, that's all I remember!.

THE END

Girl's camp

 by Rachel

Girls camp. The two words we all fear and dread. Dirt, grime, evil squirrels, a camp full of s, genetically altered chipmunks...Yes, genetically altered. You haven't seen a chipmunk or squirrel until you've been to Camp Liahona. They may be small and cute but they are really vicious, evil animals! They sneak into your cabin at night, they steal your candy, they break into your bags. Only a genetically altered animal could do all that. Which leads me to wonder...who made them that way in the first place? I have two theories. One is that they are naturally insane because of all the s who pass through the camp. Enough to make anyone go insane. Or two...well, I don't have a two but it sounded good anyway--You have been warned! Have you any idea what happened to Jolene Bailey's pants? (I think it was Joey at least. If not, let's pretend it was). She had left a candy or something of that nature in her pocket. But instead of the squirrel putting its hand inside her pocket to retrieve it, it ate it through! Yes, now you know why she had that huge hole in her pocket. But that is not all they can do. I've seen them open Tupperware and eat through Pringles tubes. Be afraid, Rosilynn. Be very afraid.

A Note From Mother

By Reid

Hello, I burnt dinner again, Surprise, surprise! That's what I want in the news letter. It all started when I was cooking dinner and I then went outside and started to paint, from there I decided to go back in and see how dinner was doing.. and low and behold I burnt dinner. That isn't the first time; I burn dinner all the time. Like last week when I was making grilled cheese.. HAHA it was as black as my pan and almost as hard. But my children ate it anyways (after I paid them a buck).

Your mom, Ruth

P.S I want my dollar back.. I saw the sandwich in the trash!

Note To Reid:  Reid, you are so dead!  I pity you brother, I really do!  Your sister, Rebecca

Personal Achievements of the Month

Rachel: "I'm finally done with 's camp for the year. What a load off my mind. No more little campers to deal with...not that I didn't love them or anything." Ruth finally set up the pool and the whole family has been splashing around for hours on end to escape the heat.  Thanks mother!
Rodney...um...we actually can't remember. Rebecca was significantly bored for the entire month of July.
Roxanna had a great time at camp!  Rosilynn had a lot of fun flying kites at the beach.
Ryan has been working really hard earning money for his mission.
Reid survived (just barely) the Young Men's bike 15 mile bike ride from Anza to Pioneer Day in Hemet!! Reanna: "We (as in Rebecca & Rosi) went to the beach and watched fireworks on TV."
