She was born Feb. 14, 1931, in Castle Hill, the daughter of Harold and Hazel McPherson. She worked for Arrowhart/Cooper Industries, and retired after 20 years. She resided in Bowdoinham for most of her life and moved to Brunswick in 2001. Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Estabrook of Brunswick and Sharon Hunton of Chester, Mass.; a granddaughter, Christine Hunton of Clearwater, Fla.; a brother, Arnold McPherson and his wife, Arline, of Brunswick; and a sister-in-law, Norma McPherson of Bowdoinham. She was predeceased by a brother, Russell McPherson. There will be a private family service at a later date. Arrangements are by Direct Cremation of Maine, 54 Church St., Belfast.
