Suddenly, as the cannons had started firing, they stopped. Talmaran stood, his head cocked. His ruler sword held high, he could hear something… A trident caught his ruler sword, sending it spinning overboard. Stuck without a weapon, Talmaran was pinned against a railing by a water elf holding a trident murderously. Suddenly, a beam of white light struck the water elf, blinding him. Talmaran looked up, and took his new sword in his hands. It screamed triumph to the winds, and burned with the power of the elements. As Talmaran knelt before the blade in reverence, it blazed with white fire. The water elf recovered from his blindness and rushed forward, but in a movement that took about half a second, Talmaran had swung the huge sword up, and brought it down, cleaving through helm and skull. The water elf slid off the ship as a huge wave rocked the deck. A group of water elves leapt over the side and charged the elves who were already rapidly losing ground to another group of water elves. Talmaran hurled a ball of lightning and ice at the group, and Notaka and Trek joined in with their Boulder and Vine spells. A water elf was crushed beneath a large rock from nowhere as another was bound by thick green tendrils. The battle raged on.
